Come to the BOCC meetings in April: 4/14
WHY? Continue pressing commissioners to answer questions about the ICE warehouse concentration camp's impact on Washington County and to allow citizens to speak at meetings. Express opposition to the Trump regime's immigration policies and ICE activity.
WHO? We are not calling for mass statewide participation (at this time) but everyone is welcome!
WHAT? Unless the ICE camp is an agenda item, those inside the meeting room are welcome to join the protest outside the building after the commissioners' opening comments. Protesters outside the building can be heard in the meeting room.
VISITORS - If you're coming from outside Washington County, plan to visit the warehouse after the meeting. It's a 15-minute drive from the county administration building: 16220 Wright Rd, Williamsport, MD
According to the schedule, all March meetings are in the morning at 100 W. Washington St.
AGENDAS ARE USUALLY POSTED ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE MEETING DATE. CHECK THE AGENDA TO CONFIRM MEETING START TIME AND LOCATION.
Find BOCC agendas HERE. Meeting agendas are posted sometime on the Friday before a meeting.

On 2/24, Commissioners further restricted our free speech rights.
Not only is there no public comment permitted during the meeting, now only one sign per person is allowed in the meeting room. The one sign must be no larger than 12” x 24”.
ABOUT THE QUESTIONS
On the morning of 2/17/26, a letter with 186 signatures was delivered in-person to the Washington County Administration Building and received by BOCC President Barr.
